Medical and Scientific Information Centre

NBI is committed to the promotion of the appropriate, safe, and effective use of its products through a programme of Continuing Medical Education (CME).

The aim of the Medical and Scientific Information Centre is to provide healthcare professionals with accurate, objective and up-to-date information on NBI's products and the clinical settings where they are used.

The Medical and Scientific Information Centre is staffed by pharmacists, with experience and training in the provision of drug information. The Information Centre also consults, as necessary, with a haematologist or other appropriate healthcare professionals.

The services of the Centre are accessible to all healthcare professionals in the southern African region. It is preferred that patient queries are directed through a healthcare professional.

To provide an efficient service, staff at the Information Centre maintain a number of current journals, reference texts and product files. They also have access to the resources of NBI's library (EK Dunning Library), and Internet access to relevant sources of information.
